Job Purpose

  • Oversee and provide leadership for General Services, Procurement, Human Resources, and Information Technology services.
  • Guide adoption of communications programs and support development of a favorable image for ATA.
  • Lead planning processes to ensure provision of sustainable and quality services.

Key Accountabilities Human Resources

  • Manage and ensure correct implementation of relevant ER policies, procedures, systems, work methods, and operating standards.
  • Manage and provide staff with required assistance and support regarding services and requirements.
  • Monitor all employee disciplinary actions up to terminations to ensure compliance with ADNOC HR policies.
  • Participate in interviews for ATA job applicants.

Key Accountabilities General Services

  • Lead audits and inspections of ATA's facilities, infrastructure and maintenance needs.
  • Oversee all ATA landscaping projects and ensure compliance with HSE requirements and ADNOC standards.
  • Manage and ensure delivery of quality cleaning services to highest standards.
  • Ensure preparation and implementation of effective security procedures and contingency plans.
  • Manage activities and execution of ATA transportation service in compliance with HSE standards and UAE traffic rules.

Key Accountabilities Procurement Services

  • Manage formalisation and implementation of best plans and practices for procurement.
  • Review and endorse all requirements, purchase requisitions, scope of services/works, good/receipt notes and work/service orders.
  • Monitor and endorse disposal of ATA surplus materials.
  • Participate in negotiations with vendors, contractors, consultants and agencies.

Key Accountabilities IT Services

  • Oversee relevant policies, procedures and operations of ATA IT function.
  • Manage modern IT infrastructure including hardware and software to support training mission.

Job Generic Accountabilities

  • Develop consistent long and short term operational plans for the Department.
  • Develop and manage the Department annual budget and monitor expenditure.
  • Develop and implement appropriate Department policies, processes, systems, standards, procedures and internal controls.
  • Contribute to development of Directorate's KPIs and ensure cascade of performance objectives.
  • Develop knowledge, competencies and innovative spirit in the Department.
  • Review, develop and recommend appropriate organisation structure.
  • Contribute to establishment of Corporate Integrated Risk Management System.
  • Promote organisation culture that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Support institution and implementation of HSE culture.
  • Ensure all Department MIS and progress reports are prepared accurately.

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Arts or equivalent; knowledge of basic accounting principles preferred.
  • 15 years of professional experience with 6 years in managerial position in General Services, Public Relations or Administration, preferably in Oil and Gas.
  • Very good knowledge of English and Arabic.
