PURPOSE
Manages a team of resources - FTEs Contractors Offshore - that develops implements maintains and supports software products and applications using appropriate processes methodologies and technologies in compliance with SITA's policies and procedures.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- · Oversee medium to large-scale development and implementation initiatives with significant cross-functional impact, ensuring applications and systems support long-term business objectives.
- · Lead the team in building accurate project estimates, allocating resources, and making firm commitments to Project Managers to ensure timely and on-budget delivery.
- · Contribute to the enhancement and continuous improvement of Software Development processes.
- · Mentor, coach, and develop a team of engineering professionals, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge required to excel.
- · Serve as the single point of contact (SPOC) for customer engagements—from requirements gathering through solution deployment.
- · Liaise with Product Owner to PI and Sprint planning and work prioritization.
