Bachelor s degree in engineering from an accredited university. A Master's degree is considered an asset. Eligibility to obtain a Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation is an asset.
Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible engineering experience within aerospace, aviation, defense, or a related technical environment.
Minimum of 4 years of experience leading engineering teams, projects, or technical organizations.
Experience supporting aircraft sustainment, modification, modernization, or certification programs.
Working knowledge of military and/or civil airworthiness regulations.
Working knowledge of Aircraft Structural Integrity Programs (ASIP) is considered an asset.
Strong understanding of aircraft structures, systems, engineering analysis methods, technical documentation, and engineering processes.
Demonstrated experience managing technical risk and supporting regulatory compliance activities.
Experience with project management principles, resource planning, and budget management.
Strong business acumen and customer engagement skills.
Demonstrate a strong commitment to occupational health, safety, environmental stewardship, and regulatory compliance. Ensure all work activities are conducted in accordance with applicable legislation, company policies, and safe work practices.
Must be eligible to meet requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Canadian government security clearances .
