Requirements

Job Description
- Identify, assess and leverage relevant public affairs opportunities and/or important regulatory changes on an ongoing basis.
- Help establish and maintain strategic relationships with government entities and regulatory authorities in the UAE.
- Support in the development and execution of public affairs plans across seven emirates and coordinate with internal/external stakeholders.
- Draft content and presentations, organize meetings and events, as well as ensure alignment with comms and marketing teams.
- Help in risk mitigation, including online/on ground support and documenting incidents.
- Collaborate closely with other functions to ensure alignment between business and policy objectives, as well as sustainability goals and community outreach.
Corporate Responsibility
- Project management of corporate responsibility initiatives that involve liaising with internal stakeholders across various departments.
- Aligning corporate responsibility and sustainability targets to international standards and local UAE government mandates.
- Measuring the social impact of the initiatives and reporting on non financial performance.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 4 6 years of experience in either Public Affairs, exposure to Communications and/or Communications and Corporate Responsibility a plus.
- Agency experience and/or dynamic in house exposure, with project management experience.
- Qualifications and or Experience in Government Relations, Public Affairs or Communications.
- Excellent written and verbal Arabic and English communications skills.
- Results and data driven proven involvement in impactful PA/CR campaigns.
- Dedicated, reliable and accurate with great attention to detail.
- A collaborative and agile mindset, able to manage a large number of stakeholders.
- Organizational skills used to simultaneously working on several projects at any one time.
- Able to work under pressure with high emotional intelligence and a professional approach.
