Role Overview

  • Manager Communications supports the Director of PR & Communications in shaping and protecting corporate reputation.
  • Leads media relations and external communications strategy across corporate (B2B/investment) and B2C portfolio narratives.

Corporate Communications Strategy

  • Support the Director in developing and implementing an integrated corporate communications strategy.
  • Articulate the Group’s investment philosophy, portfolio growth narrative, and economic contribution.
  • Ensure alignment of messaging across business verticals and portfolio entities.
  • Contribute to positioning the Group as a credible, forward looking investment platform.

Executive & Thought Leadership Positioning

  • Develop and execute a structured CEO and executive spokesperson positioning plan.
  • Identify high impact speaking opportunities, editorial placements, and industry forums.
  • Draft speeches, op eds, interviews, and key messaging for senior leadership.
  • Build a sustained thought leadership platform aligned with strategic priorities.

Media Relations & Reputation Management

  • Own relationships with key regional and international media outlets.
  • Develop proactive media engagement strategies to strengthen brand equity.
  • Manage media briefings, interviews, and press interactions.
  • Lead crisis communications planning and response.
  • Monitor media coverage and sentiment, providing strategic insights.

Investment & Portfolio Communications

  • Translate complex investment activity into compelling narratives.
  • Support announcement strategies for acquisitions, partnerships, launches, and milestones.
  • Oversee development of press materials, corporate statements, and media kits.
  • Ensure portfolio brands’ communications align with Group reputation standards.

B2C PR & Brand Communications

  • Drive public facing PR strategies across lifestyle, real estate, hospitality, and experiential assets.
  • Collaborate with Marketing teams to amplify major launches and initiatives.
  • Ensure consistent brand storytelling across earned media channels.

Internal Communications Oversight

  • Provide direction to Assistant Manager Internal Communications.
  • Support leadership communications, town halls, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Ensure internal narratives align with external positioning.

Governance & Compliance

  • Establish and maintain communications governance frameworks.
  • Ensure message discipline and approval processes are adhered to.
  • Maintain crisis communications protocols and escalation pathways.

Agency & Partner Management

  • Oversee PR agency performance, scope alignment, and strategic direction.
  • Manage budgets allocated to communications initiatives.
  • Ensure agencies deliver measurable media impact aligned with corporate objectives.
