- Establish and enforce standardized commercial processes and data governance frameworks across Group Companies
- Lead the optimization and continuous improvement of commercial workflows within ERP and related systems
- Govern the integrity, completeness, and quality of commercial data by instituting validation controls and monitoring mechanisms
- Oversee the planning and implementation of system enhancements
- Drive the adoption of data management practices and reporting structures for advanced analytics
- Manage ERP data structures, master data governance, and integration points
- Monitor system performance and data related risks, initiating timely interventions
- Coordinate with Digital and cross functional stakeholders to prioritize system changes
- Oversee user adoption of commercial systems and data standards
- Lead impact assessments and process adjustments arising from system changes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Data Management, or a related field
- 15 years of relevant experience in commercial operations, ERP systems, or data management, preferably within the Oil & Gas sector
- Certification in Data Management or Process Improvement (e.g., Six Sigma, CDMP) is preferred

Job Purpose
- Drive the standardization, governance, and continuous enhancement of Group Commercial processes and data management practices, ensuring ERP integrity, data reliability, and process efficiency to enable informed decision making and optimized commercial performance across the Group.
Key Accountabilities Job Specific
- Establish and enforce standardized commercial processes and data governance frameworks across Group Companies to ensure consistency, compliance, and effective system utilization.
- Lead the optimization and continuous improvement of commercial workflows within ERP and related systems to enhance data accuracy, process efficiency, and cycle time performance.
- Govern the integrity, completeness, and quality of commercial data by instituting validation controls, monitoring mechanisms, and corrective actions to support reliable reporting and decision making.
- Oversee the planning and implementation of system enhancements, ensuring solutions align with approved standards, business priorities, and measurable value outcomes.
- Drive the adoption of data management practices and reporting structures that enable advanced analytics, business intelligence, and performance tracking across commercial activities.
- Manage ERP data structures, master data governance, and integration points to maintain system stability and support seamless end to end commercial operations.
- Monitor system performance and data related risks, initiating timely interventions to resolve issues and ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.
- Coordinate with Digital and cross functional stakeholders to prioritize system changes, align data requirements, and ensure effective delivery of integrated commercial solutions.
- Oversee user adoption of commercial systems and data standards by issuing guidance, validating compliance, and ensuring alignment with approved policies and procedures.
- Lead impact assessments and process adjustments arising from system changes or transformation initiatives to ensure continuity, data integrity, and minimal business disruption.
Key Accountabilities Generic
- Plan and supervise the activities of the personnel and resources of the Department to achieve the Division objectives.
- Develop the knowledge, competencies and innovative spirit in the Department and support the establishment of Personal Development Plans (PDP’s), Succession Planning and Talent pipeline.
- Compile and provide input for preparation of the Division budgets and regularly monitor expenditure against approved the Department budget levels.
- Lead the implementation of approved Department policies, processes, systems, standards, procedures and internal controls.
- Implement the Company Performance Management System for individuals within the Department.
- Review, develop and recommend the appropriate organisation structure for the Department.
- Encourage innovation, enhance employee motivation and support initiatives for implementation of Change Management.
- Propose improvements in internal processes against best practices in pursuit of greater efficiency.
- Support the institution of an HSE culture and ensure compliance with relevant HSE policies, procedures, systems & controls and applicable legislation and sustainability guidelines.
- Ensure adequate HSE training and induction for all Department employees to meet HSE standards.
- Prepare all Department MIS and progress reports to provide accurate and timely reports and necessary information to Company Management.
Communication & Working Relationship
- Regular interaction with the VP, Group Commercial & Technology Enablement, and other function leaders.
- Regular coordination with Group Digital & Cyber Security, Finance, and other corporate functions.
- Engagement with commercial teams and Group Companies to drive adoption of standardized processes.
- Collaborate with external vendors and partners to ensure seamless integration of data management tools.
- Represent the organization in industry forums and conferences related to commercial processes and data management.
- Maintain relationships with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Data Management, or a related field.
- 15 years of relevant experience in commercial operations, ERP systems, or data management, preferably within the Oil & Gas sector.
- Certification in Data Management or Process Improvement (e.g., Six Sigma, CDMP) is preferred.
