A leading aviation-industry company is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician.
The role supports the maintenance and reliability of specialized airport operational equipment.
The position focuses on preventive and corrective maintenance while meeting operational, quality, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance according to OEM recommendations and company procedures.
- Conduct inspections, diagnostics, troubleshooting, repairs, and functional testing.
- Coordinate with internal technical teams and external OEM support to resolve technical issues.
- Ensure equipment is operational and available for daily airport operations.
- Perform pre-operational inspections and functionality checks before releasing equipment for service.
- Maintain equipment performance and availability in line with operational KPIs.
- Prepare and submit daily maintenance reports and technical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with aviation safety, operational, and maintenance procedures.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and support emergency maintenance activities when required.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities to enhance equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
- Two to three years of experience maintaining airport ground support equipment, industrial equipment, or other specialized machinery.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
- Previous experience in aviation, airport operations, or ground handling is highly preferred.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
Required Skills
- Strong troubleshooting and fault diagnosis skills.
- Good understanding of aviation operational and safety requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and maintenance procedures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and maintenance reporting systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards.
