Lead ship repair and marine maintenance operations for the company.
Oversee technical personnel while maintaining safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, plan, and manage ship repair and maintenance operations.
- Develop preventive and corrective maintenance strategies for vessel readiness and safety.
- Supervise and mentor technicians, engineers, and support staff.
- Coordinate ship repair projects with clients, vendors, and internal departments.
- Ensure compliance with marine safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
- Monitor maintenance budgets, resource allocation, and performance reports.
- Improve maintenance processes, reduce downtime, and optimize costs.
- Document maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 7–12 years of experience in ship repair, shipbuilding, or marine maintenance.
- Experience managing maintenance teams and operations in a marine or ship repair environment.
- Strong knowledge of ship systems, machinery, and repair techniques.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with safety regulations, maritime compliance, and quality management systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
