Performing all activities safely
Perform fault/maintenance diagnostic activities & complete repairs as required to ensure continuous operation of the plant.
Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance services relating to the plant. This includes assisting in the organisation of shutdowns
Plan regular maintenance activities. Recommend and implement improvements to fixed plant and work practices
Supervision of contractors on-site
Documentation of maintenance activities, maintenance of databases and generation of purchasing requests
Perform fabrication activities in accordance with blueprints or schematic drawings, including any minor welding repairs as required, set up and operate lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking equipment.
Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (AUS) or National Certificate in Automotive Machining – Level 4(NZ) or equivalent.
Boilermaker trades who have been working in Mechanical roles are encouraged to apply
Experience with Pumps, Compressors, High-pressure valves and flanges
Forklift license, EWP license, Confined space and working at heights are highly advantageous
Computer literacy is essential for this role
Ability to work overtime
Demonstrated experience in fault-finding and repairing a range of machinery
