Responsibilities
- Supervise mechanical maintenance of compression, coating, capsule filling, granulation, blistering, and packaging lines
- Lead root cause analysis for mechanical failures
- Ensure effective corrective and preventive maintenance implementation
- Coordinate planned shutdown activities
- Lead mechanical scope for new equipment transfer, erecting, installation and commissioning
- Manage mechanical revamping, retrofitting, upgrading, and system modifications
- Execute major overhauls and technical improvement projects
- Review mechanical layouts and utility integration
- Evaluate supplier proposals and technical solutions
- Coordinate FAT/SAT and support qualification phases
- Ensure alignment with production, quality, and safety standards
- Develop and optimize preventive maintenance plans
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics
- 2–5 years experience in pharmaceutical maintenance
- Strong troubleshooting experience in high speed production equipment
- Experience managing equipment upgrades and revamping projects
- Supervisory experience required
- Knowledge of GMP and pharmaceutical regulatory environment
