- Carry out all pre start checks
- Ensure the product meets the correct quality and specification
- Understand equipment and machinery setup requirements
- Complete changeovers according to procedure
- Track and maintain product consistency by adjusting machinery settings
- Complete all documentation to the required standard
- Maintain factory standards safely at all times
- Support the training and development of colleagues and new employees

Role Overview
- We are looking for a Machine Minder who will be responsible for reporting and resolving any issues related to machinery.
- Must have a can do attitude and committed to maintaining high standards in a dynamic team.
- Will move lines across the factory as and when required.
Key Deliverables
- Carry out all pre start checks
- Ensure the product meets the correct quality and specification
- Understand equipment and machinery setup requirements
- Complete changeovers according to procedure
- Follow rework procedures as required
- Track and maintain product consistency by adjusting machinery settings when needed
- Complete all documentation to the required standard
- Maintain factory standards safely at all times
- Complete shift handovers in line with area requirements and the agreed agenda
- Support the training and development of colleagues and new employees
- Ensure the team understands the daily task plan
- Communicate with the relevant person to resolve issues
Essential Requirements
- Have an understanding of good manufacturing practices and safety at work procedures
- Have an interest in Operating Machinery (mechanically minded)
- Can work well with others and be open to learning and change
- A candidate who remains steady and solution focused when facing setbacks
- We’re looking for people who can work flexibly and adapt to change
Salary and Benefits
- Annual Salary: £29,607.60
