Key skills for this role
The vision for Infrastructure Services (IS) is to inspire unwavering trust among citizens and Council in our commitment and ability to deliver quality infrastructure. Reporting directly to the LRT Capital Line Extension’s Project Director, the Capital Line LRT Engineering Interface Manager is a critical leadership role that will support the planning, execution, and delivery of multidisciplinary technical scopes—including civil, facilities, structures, rail systems, and Light Rail Vehicles (LRVs). In this high-profile position, you will act as the primary point of contact for interface-related matters, facilitating communication between technical teams, driving value engineering, and ensuring the seamless integration of this major extension with the existing LRT Capital Line across all design and construction activities.
The ideal candidate brings strong technical and interface management experience from complex, multi-disciplinary railway projects, guiding them through design, construction, testing, commissioning, and handover stages under alternative project delivery methods.
You will provide expert interdisciplinary oversight to manage risks, resolve engineering conflicts, and ensure compliance with the City’s High Floor LRT Design Guidelines.
Working collaboratively with business partners, consultants, and advisors, you will oversee program managers, lead alignment workshops, and support procurement and contract management.
If you are a collaborative leader ready to mitigate technical gaps and shape the future of our city's transit landscape, we invite you to apply.
