Job Summary
Manage daily loss prevention and security functions to protect property assets, employees, guests, and the hotel property.
Maintain legally required and standard operating procedure logs, certifications, and documents.
Train staff in emergency procedures and implement accident and fire prevention procedures while supporting guest satisfaction and the operating budget.
Education and Experience
- A two-year degree from an accredited university in Criminal Justice or a related major is required.
- Two years of experience in security, loss prevention, or a related professional area is required.
Security and Loss Prevention Operations
- Administer fire prevention programs and emergency preparedness with the Director of Engineering.
- Conduct hazard and risk assessments, quarterly safety audits, incident tracking, and hazard abatement.
- Develop property shutdown procedures, follow key control guidelines, and comply with applicable laws and safety regulations.
- Maintain monthly checklists for CCTV equipment, alarmed doors, and duress alarms.
- Conduct interior and exterior patrols and inspect recording systems.
