- Oversee UAE and GCC trucking and rail shipments, ensuring timely and cost effective deliveries
- Coordinate with transport providers, drivers, and warehouses to manage daily operations efficiently
- Prepare and verify all required shipping documents, including delivery notes, invoices, and customs clearance
- Ensure compliance with UAE transport regulations and company policies
- Liaise with trucking companies and rail transport providers to ensure efficient scheduling and delivery
- Negotiate transport rates and evaluate vendor performance for continuous improvement
- Monitor shipments in real time and provide regular status updates to stakeholders
- Proactively resolve delays, issues, or route changes by coordinating with transport providers
- Identify opportunities to reduce transportation costs while maintaining service quality
- Analyze route planning and suggest more efficient transport solutions
- Handle shipment delays, damaged goods, and transportation disruptions with quick resolutions
- Ensure all land shipments comply with UAE customs and transport regulations
Requirements
- Experience in freight forwarding or logistics
- Knowledge of UAE transport regulations and customs
- Strong organizational and communication skills
