Roles and Responsibilities (Import Shipments & Local Transportation)
1. **Prepare Documents**
: Customs clearance, export shipments, certificate of origin (COO) applications, and document legalization (COO & CI).
2.
Export deliveries, including product inspection and container sealing.
3.
Work with forwarders/agents for material movement, freight inquiries, and shipment tracking.
4.
Bill of lading, air waybill, commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of analysis, and material safety data sheet.
5.
Ensure timely delivery, track incoming materials, and provide estimated arrival/departure dates.
6.
Coordinate with sales, customer support, accounts, and other departments to address discrepancies.
7.
Ensure non-compliance and financial loss prevention, manage inventory at 3PL locations, and achieve logistics cost savings.
8.
Update logistics manager on outstanding/new shipments and coordinate with agents for import/export clearance.
9.
Work with Dubai Municipality, Dubai Customs, and other authorities for permits and document processing.
10.
Report shipment delays, damages, or losses.
