Responsibilities
- Obtain freight quotations, book shipments, and submit confirmed shipping costs as system bills.
- Arrange shipment insurance and create the related insurance bills.
- Follow up on near-expiry items across locations and coordinate stock pull-out and rotation.
- Submit ADNOC fuel expenses for company vehicles.
- Coordinate pest-control services for shops, the warehouse, and the office.
- Check company vehicle condition, monitor service schedules, and flag vehicles due for maintenance or repair.
Education and Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in freight or shipping coordination, logistics operations, or a similar operations or administrative role.
- Retail, FMCG, or trading-company experience with regular sea or air import shipments is preferred.
- Prior fleet or facilities coordination and UAE market experience are advantageous.
Required Skills and Certifications
- Experience requesting freight quotations and booking sea and air shipments.
- Basic familiarity with shipping terms such as CPT and FOB.
- Working knowledge of Zoho Inventory, Zoho Expenses, or comparable accounting software.
- Valid UAE driving license for vehicle checks and service-center coordination.
- Ability to track shipments, insurance policies, near-expiry stock, fuel cards, pest-control visits, and vehicle service dates in parallel.
- Freight-forwarding or logistics certification is a plus but not required.
