The position monitors and provides visibility for Lenovo shipments across all transport modes with nominated third-party logistics carriers.
The role supports receiving arrangements, expedited solutions, and communication between logistics partners and Lenovo workstreams.
The position is based in KSA.
Control Tower Duties
- Monitor and track shipments across all modes of transport.
- Track the movement of goods and critical logistics activities in real time.
- Ensure smooth communication between internal departments, external partners, and stakeholders.
- Generate and maintain accurate operational performance reports.
- Provide logistical support to resolve issues and bottlenecks.
- Identify potential issues and recommend continuous-improvement solutions.
- Cover control tower monitoring activities for team members as needed.
Job Requirements
- Proficient written and verbal English communication.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize based on importance and urgency.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Some SAP functional experience is preferred but not mandatory.
