Job Scope
- The Logistics Officer is accountable for overseeing the inbound and outbound operations and inventory management. S/He maintains communication with carriers, suppliers, warehouses, custom brokers and others involved in the shipping and delivery of goods.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Control the reception of merchandise to the warehouse and follow up on inventory levels and damaged goods if any; perform purchase transaction and share forwarder invoices with finance team.
- Manage outbound activities for customer orders;
- Manage outbound shipments, follow up with clearing and forwarding agents and monitor the turnaround time (TAT);
- Coordinate and arrange transportation of shipments to destination;
- Track shipments and update customers on a timely basis;
- Cooperate with the service and warehouse teams for smooth execution of shipments;
- Coordinate with clearing agents and customs to maximize efficiency in terms of time and quality;
- Verify customs documentations for exports and transfer of ownership;
- Manage the stock movement through the warehouse management system and ERP;
- Perform monthly stock audits; timely transactions in ERP and CRM
- Coordinate with the planning, finance, service and credit teams for invoicing customer orders;
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or any other related field
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
