About the Role

Shipment Coordination

• Coordinate China-to-Qatar and China-to-Dubai shipments using air freight, sea freight, and express courier services.
• Manage Dubai–Qatar transfers, including bookings, documentation, tracking, and delivery follow-up.
• Coordinate GCC, international, and local Qatar deliveries.
• Arrange bookings, collections, deliveries, and proof-of-delivery confirmation.
• Maintain shipment trackers with booking, airway bill, ETA, customs, and delivery information.

Delivery and Documentation

• Follow up on delayed, held, missing, damaged, returned, or failed deliveries and resolve issues.
• Prepare, organise, and verify commercial invoices, packing lists, air waybills, customs documents, and supporting documents.
• Coordinate return shipments, reverse logistics, and claims for delayed, lost, or damaged deliveries.
• Review invoices, verify rates and charges, and report billing discrepancies.

Providers and Reporting

• Compare courier and freight providers by cost, speed, reliability, service quality, and coverage.
• Negotiate shipping rates and service terms and onboard new providers when required.
• Maintain organised records for shipments, invoices, rates, claims, and logistics documents.
• Coordinate with supply chain, inventory, store, customer service, and finance teams.
• Prepare reports on shipment status, delays, delivery performance, claims, costs, and pending issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transportation, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Two to four years of relevant logistics, courier, freight forwarding, cross-border shipping, or e-commerce logistics experience.
• Practical experience dealing directly with courier companies, freight forwarders, and delivery providers.
• Good understanding of international shipping, customs documentation, shipment tracking, and last-mile delivery.
• Experience reviewing shipping rates, courier invoices, and logistics charges.
• Strong negotiation, problem-solving, follow-up, communication, organisational, and detail-oriented skills.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Strong written and verbal English; Arabic communication skills are an advantage.
• Able to manage multiple active shipments and respond quickly to urgent logistics problems.
