Role Overview
The Logistics Administrator manages inbound and outbound vehicle movements, including shipping, customs clearance, trade documentation, inland transport, and pre-delivery inspection coordination.
The role ensures vehicles arrive, clear customs, and are prepared for sale on time, at the lowest achievable cost, and in compliance with UAE requirements.
Accurate documentation and rapid exception resolution are critical to protecting margin and delivery commitments.
Shipping and Documentation
- Coordinate bookings, sailing schedules, and vessel arrival dates with suppliers, shipping lines, and freight forwarders.
- Review bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and export certificates.
- Match shipping documentation to purchase orders and VIN lists.
- Track shipments and provide arrival forecasts and early warnings of delays.
Customs and Transport
- Coordinate customs clearance and port release through appointed clearing agents.
- Ensure declarations, duties, fees, clearance certificates, and applicable regulatory approvals are processed accurately.
