Responsibilities
- Install, maintain and repair all assigned doors, locks, structural components, roofing systems, floor systems, foundations, gutter systems and surface coverings
- Perform metal and fabric repair, fabrication work, welding support including oxy/acetylene cutting, corrosion control, pavement painting and striping, locksmith services and form work for concrete
- Remodel, refurbish or demolish existing facilities
- Install, maintain and repair protective coatings, sealants, epoxies, glues, paints and fencing
- Perform major building interior finish repairs such as replacement or repair of acoustic ceiling tile and sheetrock ceilings and walls
- Perform Carpentry installation/repairs including whole door replacement, door handles, hinges, closers, flooring repair, drywall repair, roofing materials
- Perform Masonry installation/repairs including CMU, brick construction, tile applications, concrete forms
- Perform Sheetmetal installation/repairs including duct work, metal patchwork, rollup doors
- Perform Welding installation/repairs including welding, cutting, blazing
- Perform TFS (Tension Fabric Systems) installation/repairs
- Perform Locksmithing installation/repairs including mechanical personnel door locks, pad locks, cypher locks
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance (US Citizenship required)
- Two (2) or more years related experience in the locksmith field
- Three (3) or more years related experience in the construction field
- Must be a registered Locksmith and have sufficient expertise in the field
- Must possess GSA Certified Locksmith (DoD Lock Program/GSA Safe & Vault Training)
- Keystone software experience
- Must maintain a valid state driver license and be qualified to operate government general purpose vehicle
- Ability to work in over 100 degree Fahrenheit conditions
- Ability to frequently lift items weighing 40 45 pounds and occasionally over 50 pounds

Purpose and Scope
- This is a contract position in Abu Dhabi to install, repair, rebuild, and service mechanical or electrical locking devices. This position will also maintain and repair structural components to include pre engineered permanent, semi permanent and temporary facilities such as tension fabric shelters,
Essential Responsibilities
- Install, maintain and repair all assigned doors, locks, structural components, roofing systems, floor systems, foundations, gutter systems and surface coverings.
- Perform metal and fabric repair, fabrication work, welding support to include oxy/acetylene cutting, corrosion control, pavement painting and striping, locksmith services and form work for concrete.
- Remodel, refurbish or demolish existing facilities.
- Install, maintain and repair protective coatings, sealants, epoxies, glues, paints and fencing.
- Major building interior finish repairs, such as the replacement or repair of acoustic ceiling tile and sheetrock ceilings and walls.
- Perform Carpentry installation / repairs to include: Whole Door Replacement, Door handles, hinges, and closers, Flooring repair, Any interior facility repairs, Drywall repair, Repair/Replace any roofing materials.
- Perform Masonry installation / repairs to include: CMU (Concrete Masonry Units), Brick construction, Tile applications from beginning to end, Concrete Forms.
- Perform Sheetmetal installation / repairs to include: Duct work, Metal patchwork (not including ducts), Rollup doors.
- Perform Welding installation / repairs to include: Welding, Cutting, Blazing.
- Perform TFS (Tension Fabric Systems) installation / repairs to include: General knowledge of tent systems.
- Perform Locksmithing installation / repairs to include: Mechanical personnel door locks, Pad locks, Cypher locks.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.
- Two (2) or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in the locksmith field.
- Three (3) or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in the construction field.
- Must be a registered Locksmith and have sufficient expertise in the field.
- Must possess GSA Certified Locksmith (DoD Lock Program/GSA Safe & Vault Training).
- Keystone software experience.
- Must maintain a valid state driver license and be qualified to operate government general purpose vehicle.
- Similar military experience.
- Facilities, project management, inventory management and operations experience.
- Ability to adapt to frequent change and a hectic, fast paced work environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to deal with others in a positive, customer focused manner.
Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands
- Working conditions in over 100 degree Fahrenheit conditions.
- Frequently lifts items weighing 40 45 pounds and occasionally in excess of 50 pounds.
- Frequently climbing to over 12 feet and using lifts to access over 24 feet to perform job functions.
- Working with manual and electrical hand tools.
- Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, extreme heat, and vibration.
- Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions; extreme cold; and risk of electrical shock.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually loud or unsafe conditions.
- Long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.
- Personnel should be aware of moving on short notice and under adverse conditions.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
