- Maintain, modify, and repair electrical power generating and control systems, automatic transfer switches, and associated equipment
- Perform scheduled periodic maintenance on systems and components
- Adjust generator systems to maintain proper voltage, current frequency, and/or synchronization
- Identify, record, and repair generator malfunctions by removing, repairing, and/or replacing defective power generating components
- Support various generator systems as identified in specified tables
Requirements
- Qualified to maintain, modify, and repair electrical power generating and control systems
- Experience with automatic transfer switches and associated equipment
- Ability to perform scheduled periodic maintenance and adjust generator systems
- Ability to work from blueprints, drawings, and operate electrician's hand tools and testing instruments
- Experience with Cummins generator series and Inpower software

Essential Responsibilities
- The designee shall be qualified to maintain, modify, and repair electrical power generating and control systems, automatic transfer switches, and associated equipment.
- Performs scheduled periodic maintenance on systems and components, and adjusts generator systems to maintain proper voltage, current frequency, and or synchronization.
- Identifies, records, and repairs generator malfunctions by removing, repairing, and or replacing defective power generating components.
- The designee shall maintain systems such as, but not limited to Cummins generator series' DGDK, DSGAB, DGBB, C15D6, C35D6 125D6D, MEPP series 1050, 1070A, PP 3106A and Cummins Inpower software.
- This designee shall be qualified to work from blueprints, drawings, and operating a variety of electrician's hand tools and testing instruments.
