Leadership Responsibilities
- Support team members and help teams thrive.
- Lead by example while balancing technical work and leadership responsibilities.
- Contribute to people management, project and programme management, and large-scale coordination.
- Build firm-wide partnerships and facilitate collaboration.
- Support short- and long-term planning and service delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or another technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Clear and concise communication skills in individual and group settings.
- Ability to analyze and deconstruct problems efficiently.
- Track record supporting individuals and helping teams thrive.
- Experience building and growing firm-wide partnerships.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills across technical, process, and people contexts.
- Deep knowledge of operating system fundamentals, especially Linux.
- Fluency with the Unix command line and shell scripting.
- Practical experience with modern Linux systems and systems programming concepts.
- Basic understanding of network protocols.
- Programming experience in any language.
- Fluency in English.
Technical Environment
- Linux is the primary operating system focus.
- The role involves systems engineering, systems administration, programming, and production trading platform support.
- Candidates should be willing to learn OCaml, the organization's language of choice.
