About the Position
Join the Cybersecurity team as a hands-on Cybersecurity Engineer strengthening the security posture of applications, data, infrastructure, and processes.
The role combines offensive technical expertise with cross-team partnership to build security into applications from the ground up.
The position involves deep technical investigation, threat modeling, vulnerability remediation, and tailored security solution development.
Core Responsibilities
- Identify threats and uncover and remediate vulnerabilities using hands-on offensive security expertise.
- Guide teams in analyzing the security implications of design decisions and implementing secure applications.
- Translate security principles into concrete architectural improvements through practical threat modeling.
- Partner with system owners to identify potential exploits, resolve vulnerabilities, and balance security controls with business requirements.
- Teach others and transfer knowledge about threat modeling while collaborating across the firm.
- Document decision-making rationale and develop creative approaches to complex security challenges.
Candidate Requirements
- Demonstrated offensive security background.
- Ability to build and implement secure solutions from the ground up.
- Strong Linux background and confident scripting ability.
- Ability to evaluate security tradeoffs and make risk-based decisions.
- Excellent communication skills, relationship-building ability, and a collaborative mindset.
- Ability to teach others and transfer knowledge about threat modeling.
- Ability to take accountability and document decision-making rationale.
- Fluency in English is required.
Preferred Skills
- Proficiency in any programming language is a plus.
- Exposure to software engineering, DevOps, risk analysis, security governance, or cyber awareness is relevant to the broader team environment.
