Candidzone is a leading recruitment and HR solutions provider in Qatar, connecting top talent with reputable organizations across various industries.
We are currently seeking 2 experienced Lifting Supervisors for a long-term project in Qatar.
The ideal candidates will have strong expertise in lifting operations, rigging supervision, heavy equipment coordination, and strict adherence to safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise all lifting and rigging operations safely and efficiently
- Ensure compliance with approved lifting plans, PTW, and PTS procedures
- Coordinate with crane operators, riggers, and site teams
- Review crane capacities, load charts, and risk assessments before lifting activities
- Inspect lifting tools, tackles, and equipment certifications
- Monitor critical lifts and ensure safe execution on site
- Conduct toolbox talks and promote HSE awareness
- Maintain reports, records, and lifting documentation
Skills And Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience (with supporting certificates)
- Degree or Diploma in relevant discipline
- Strong knowledge of crane operations, lifting calculations, and rigging practices
- Good leadership, communication, and coordination skills
- Experience in industrial, oil & gas, or construction projects preferred
