- Assist guests entering/exiting pool safely
- Record incidents, accidents, or near drownings
Requirements
- Lifeguard certification
- Basic experience in lifeguarding
- Ability to perform CPR and first aid

Main Responsibilities of a Hotel Lifeguard
- Continuously monitor swimmers in the pool area
- Prevent unsafe behavior (running, diving in shallow water, overcrowding)
- Enforce hotel pool rules strictly
- Respond immediately to drowning, injuries, or distress situations
- Perform CPR and first aid when required
- Use rescue equipment like rescue tubes, buoys
- Inspect pool depth markers, drains, and safety signs
- Ensure lifesaving equipment is available and in good condition
- Report hazards (slippery areas, broken tiles, overcrowding)
- Assist guests entering/exiting pool safely
- Provide basic guidance to swimmers (especially children)
- Maintain polite and professional customer service
