Responsibilities
- Carry out maintenance work on aircraft components and certify the work
- Guide or support mechanics by providing specialized technical knowledge
- Ensure all aircraft components maintenance work is accomplished in accordance with policies and procedures
- Complete and certify scheduled/unscheduled aircraft and component maintenance tasks
- Advise impending work related problems and implement solutions
- Ensure correct operation of equipment and safe work environment
- Ensure tools and equipment are properly calibrated and serviceable
- Optimize manpower utilization and resources through roster management
- Define work priorities to staff to ensure efficient use of resources
- Ensure staff adhere to maintenance data and health and safety requirements
Requirements
- High School Qualification / Vocational Qualification / Diploma or Equivalent with Minimum 4 years of job related experience OR Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 3 years of job related experience
- Training on CNC Machine
- Valid Company Authorization for component repair and parts fabrications
- Human Factors training
- Aviation Legislation knowledge

About the role
- We are currently recruiting for Licensed Aircraft Technician under Specialized Services (Machine) in Doha.
- As a Licensed Aircraft Technician Specialized Services (Machine), you will be responsible to carry out maintenance work on aircraft components and to certify the work.
Operational Accountabilities
- Ensures that all aircraft components maintenance work is accomplished in accordance with laid down policies and procedures.
- Responsible for completion and certification of scheduled/unscheduled aircraft and component maintenance assigned tasks.
- Advising any impending work related problems which can create impact on work progression to engineer in charge.
- Responsible for effective and correct operation of equipment by adhering to instruction manual.
- Responsible for usage of correct tools and equipment for scheduled/unscheduled aircraft and component maintenance.
- Ensure that all tools and equipment used are properly calibrated and serviceable before and after use.
- Responsible for on time completion of scheduled/unscheduled aircraft and component maintenance assigned tasks.
- Responsible to optimize man power utilization and all available resources through roster management techniques.
- Defining work priorities to the staff allocated to him.
- Ensuring staff under his immediate control adhere to published maintenance data and health and safety requirements.
About you
- High School Qualification / Vocational Qualification / Diploma or Equivalent with Minimum 4 years of job related experience OR Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 3 years of job related experience.
- Training on CNC Machine
- Valid Company Authorization for component repair and parts fabrications
