About the Role
The Emirates Group is seeking a Licensed Aircraft Engineer specializing in cabin maintenance to perform routine maintenance, defect rectification, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory procedures.

Responsibilities
- Carry out aircraft maintenance and servicing tasks in compliance with manufacturer and safety procedures
- Ensure assigned zones/aircraft are maintained per latest revisions of approved technical publications
- Perform component changes and troubleshooting in accordance with AMM, IPC, or other manufacturer documentation
- Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with safety rules and company procedures
- Manage performance of staff using performance review process
- Attend training/recurrent modules to enhance skills and comply with CAR 145 requirements
Requirements
- Degree or Honours in Engineering (Aeronautical, Mechanical, Avionics, Electronic, Tech Engineering, or Maintenance Engineering)
- 10 years experience in aviation maintenance environment
- 5 years experience in Engineering as a certifying staff
- Minimum of 2 aircraft type approvals
- Fully conversant with Air Legislation and legal matters related to aircraft operation and maintenance

Job Purpose
- As a Licensed Aircraft Engineer I in Aircraft Cabin Maintenance, carry out routine maintenance tasks and defect rectification of aircraft as per company and regulatory procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out aircraft maintenance and servicing tasks in compliance with manufacturer and safety procedures.
- Ensure assigned zones/aircraft are maintained per latest revisions of approved authority Technical Publications.
- Ensure personal approvals/licenses are valid and applicable to aircraft types.
- Ensure all off aircraft tasks (spares handling, robberies, hold items, etc.) are handled in compliance with company procedures.
- Determine if tooling/equipment used is serviceable and appropriate for the task.
- Carry out component changes as necessary as part of troubleshooting process.
- Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with safety rules and regulations.
- Maintain effective communication with colleagues to ensure seamless flow of information.
- Complete relevant reports related to service delays, incidents, and accidents.
- Manage performance of staff using performance review process.
- Attend training/recurrent modules as required to enhance skills and comply with CAR 145 requirements.
- Be available for deployment anywhere within the EK operation including diversionary airfields.
Qualifications
- Degree or Honours in Engineering (Aeronautical, Mechanical, Avionics, Electronic, Tech Engineering, or Maintenance Engineering).
- 10 years experience in aviation maintenance environment.
- 5 years experience in Engineering as a certifying staff.
- Minimum of 2 aircraft type approvals.
- Fully conversant with Air Legislation and legal matters related to aircraft operation and maintenance.
