Working Arrangement

• The role is based in Dubai, UAE, and is initially part-time with potential to expand into a broader or full-time position.
• The successful candidate is expected to be locally based in Dubai.

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Advise on UAE corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters.
• Support establishment, structuring, licensing, and ongoing compliance of UAE entities.
• Provide guidance on Dubai mainland and free-zone requirements.
• Assist with customs clearance, import and export procedures, product registration, and relevant certifications.
• Research law and assess risks related to projects, products, platforms, and business models in the UAE.
• Develop risk-mitigation recommendations aligned with commercial objectives.
• Liaise with UAE authorities, free zones, certification bodies, external legal advisers, and local service providers.
• Provide legal support to management and operational teams.
• Monitor changes in UAE legislation and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Degree in Law; a Master’s degree or additional legal qualification is an advantage.
• At least three years of relevant legal experience, preferably with a recognised law firm, corporate legal department, or international company.
• Strong practical knowledge of UAE corporate, commercial, and regulatory requirements.
• Current residence in Dubai and a good understanding of the local business environment.
• Fluent Russian and professional-level written and spoken English.
• Strong legal drafting, contract review, negotiation, and research skills.
• Experience with intellectual property, customs procedures, product certification, or regulatory approvals is highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently, manage several matters simultaneously, and deliver practical solutions within deadlines.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with innovation-focused businesses and existing professional relationships in the UAE are advantages.
