Role Overview

Commercial and Transactional Legal Work

• Negotiate, draft, and review commercial agreements, licensing and distribution deals, artist contracts, and third-party arrangements.
• Support local artist signings and contractual negotiations.
• Advise on digital initiatives, concerts, live events, endorsements, sponsorships, and new business ventures.
• Maintain standard agreements and provisions as business models and regulations evolve.

Corporate, Compliance, and Litigation

• Oversee contract databases and systems for artist rights and contractual obligations.
• Support corporate restructuring, mergers, acquisitions, and related transaction documents.
• Support compliance frameworks, business affairs policies, reporting, and statutory filings.
• Supervise litigation and manage relationships with external counsel.

Required Qualifications

• Eight to ten years of post-qualification legal experience in commercial, corporate, intellectual property, or mergers and acquisitions matters.
• Deep understanding of UAE commercial law.
• Experience independently negotiating contracts, closing deals, managing litigation, coordinating counsel, and advising senior leadership on risks.
• Hands-on experience maintaining local legal systems and following compliance processes.
• Fluent Arabic and English.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in media, entertainment, digital, technology, or consumer-facing industries is preferred.
