About the Role
King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre is seeking a Lead Technical Assistant to coordinate activities of technical assistants and assist in laboratory specialties. Responsibilities include monitoring specimen procurement, training new assistants, and ensuring compliance with accreditation standards.

- Monitor and resolve problems related to specimen procurement and activities of technical assistants
- Assist in specialty areas of the laboratory including Parasitology, Cytogenetics, Microscopy and Blood Transfusion Service
- Receive daily schedules and assign technical assistants to specific areas
- Assist in training new technical assistants
- Oversee distribution of laboratory reports
- Inventory and requisition blood collecting supplies
- Perform all duties of blood collecting as needed
- Comply with section policies, procedures, and quality improvement program

Summary
- Leads and coordinates activities of the technical assistants and/or assists in specialty areas of the laboratory.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties
- Monitors and resolves problems related to specimen procurement and activities of the technical assistants and/or assists in specialty of the laboratory, including but not limited to Parasitology, Cytogenetics, Microscopy and Blood Transfusion Service.
- Receives daily schedules and assigns technical assistants to specific areas of the Hospital and clinics for specimen procurement.
- Assists in training new technical assistants.
- Oversees distribution of laboratory reports.
- Inventories and requisitions of blood collecting supplies.
- Performs all duties of blood collecting, etc. as needed.
- Comply with the section policies, procedures, and protocols. Follows the section quality improvement program in accordance with CBAHI, JCI, CAP, SFDA and other accreditation international agencies standards
