Lead Technical Architect

Overview

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Honors in Engineering / Computer Science / Mathematics / Sciences or Equivalent
• 10+ years in architecture or system design roles with 3+ years focused on Technology architecture, Cloud and DevSecOps
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices and cloud computing
• Deep experience in performance, scalability, and reliability engineering
• Ability to conduct research and adopt emerging technologies and software development tools
• Proven ability to foster a collaborative team environment, encouraging innovation and continuous improvement
• Skilled in adapting and integrating emerging technologies such as AI/ML, Generative AI into software Solutions
• Proficient in using advanced software engineering tools and platforms, including containerization and CI/CD pipelines
• Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and Software Quality Assurance processes
• Expertise in area(s) of Architecture, Enterprise Integration patterns and software design and development
• Expertise in modern software architecture, including microservices, serverless computing, and cloud-native applications
• Hands-on experience in identifying the application bottlenecks using Dynatrace / ELK APM / AppDynamics tool and explain the bottlenecks to the application team for the resolution

Responsibilities

• Lead technology modernization and digital transformation initiatives
• Shape technology roadmaps and architectural blueprints
• Drive the adoption of AI, cloud, and DevSecOps practices
• Ensure technology investments are aligned with enterprise standards
• Provide strategic leadership in Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), DevSecOps, Cloud Engineering, AI adoption, and Enterprise Architecture
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architects, Principal Architects, and cross-functional technology leaders
• Lead the design and implementation of cloud-native, resilient, scalable, and secure architectures
• Establish and govern SRE practices, including Service Level Objectives (SLOs), Service Level Indicators (SLIs), error budgets, reliability engineering standards, resilience testing, capacity planning, disaster recovery, and production readiness governance
• Drive adoption of DevSecOps practices by embedding security, quality, compliance, and operational controls throughout the software delivery lifecycle
• Define and govern enterprise CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), GitOps, test automation, release automation, and deployment pipeline standards
• Lead the evaluation, selection, standardization, and governance of software engineering and DevOps platforms
• Establish engineering quality gates and governance frameworks covering code quality, technical debt management, dependency management, software supply chain security, architectural compliance, and release readiness
