Lead the architecture and delivery of Java backend applications and microservices hosted on Azure.
Oversee feature execution, reliability, performance, Agile delivery, and CI/CD workflows.
Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and maintain Java applications using Spring Boot and microservices.
- Drive features from concept to deployment while meeting scalability and performance goals.
- Contribute from analysis and design through testing and release across the SDLC.
- Deliver reusable, testable code and conduct comprehensive code reviews.
- Troubleshoot backend and frontend issues across environments.
- Implement and consume RESTful APIs for frontend-backend integration.
- Tune API latency and database query performance.
- Support CI/CD pipeline improvements and maintenance.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering development experience.
- 8+ years of professional full-stack development using Java, Spring Boot, and Azure.
- Hands-on Java and Spring Framework experience.
- Knowledge of APIs, microservices, and event-driven architecture.
- Strong proficiency in Java 17, Spring Boot 3.1.2, Spring Framework 6.0.7, Hibernate, RESTful API design, and modular frontend architecture.
- Experience with Azure Pipelines, Jenkins, and GitLab CI.
- Working knowledge of Azure cloud services, including Data Factory, Databricks, AKS, and Azure Functions.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, collaboration, and communication skills.
- B2 or Upper-Intermediate English proficiency.
