Lead the architecture and delivery of Java backend applications and microservices hosted on Azure.
Improve application reliability and performance while contributing to Agile delivery and CI/CD workflows.
Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and maintain applications using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.
- Drive feature delivery from concept to deployment while meeting scalability and performance goals.
- Contribute through analysis, design, testing, and release across the SDLC.
- Deliver reusable, testable code and conduct code reviews.
- Troubleshoot backend and frontend issues across environments.
- Implement and consume RESTful APIs for frontend-backend integration.
- Optimize API latency and database query performance.
- Improve and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering development experience.
- 8+ years of full-stack development experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Azure.
- Hands-on Java and Spring Framework development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Java 17, Spring Boot 3.1.2, Spring Framework 6.0.7, Hibernate, RESTful API design, and modular frontend architecture.
- Experience with Azure Pipelines, Jenkins, and GitLab CI.
- Knowledge of microservices, event-driven architecture, APIs, and cloud environments.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills across the stack.
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively in Agile/Scrum teams.
- English proficiency at B2, or Upper-Intermediate, level.
