Lead Site Reliability Engineer/ Expert

About the Role and Team

What You Will Do

• Analyze production incidents using logs, metrics, and traces to identify impacted application code and execution paths.
• Diagnose whether root causes relate to application code, configuration, Kubernetes, or infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot Kubernetes workloads, including runtime behavior, networking, health probes, and failure scenarios.
• Serve as the technical escalation point during critical incidents.
• Lead root cause analysis and drive permanent corrective actions.
• Enhance observability and alerting, partner with Development and Platform teams, and automate repetitive operational tasks.
• Assess deployment impact through CI/CD expertise and monitor reliability to reduce outages.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or production engineering supporting high-availability systems.
• Strong root cause analysis, permanent issue resolution, and production troubleshooting skills using logs, metrics, and traces.
• Strong knowledge of Java or .NET applications in production and hands-on Kubernetes experience.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools for distributed systems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
• Scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash, or a similar language.
• Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Workplace

• Flex Week is hybrid, with two days working from home and three days in the office.
• Employees may work from any location in the world for up to 30 days per year.
