Responsibilities
- Champion the Project Safety culture, behaviors and engagement activities
- Identify, evaluate, and resolve Piping Engineering issues
- Review and approve Contractor key deliverables within specified durations
- Review and approve equipment design, system design, testing of materials, specifications, and design calculations
- Review and approve key design documents from Vendors and prepare comments
- Attend technical meetings with Owner, Licensor, Contractor and Vendors
- Attend Project technical sessions such as Design Review, 3D Model Review, Constructability, SIL, EIA, HAZOP, HAZID
- Ensure quality and accuracy of EPC Contractor's Mechanical (Piping) Engineering design activities
- Supervise and manage review and approval of Contractor's work
- Coordinate technical reviews and analysis during vendor prequalification, bid evaluation, and performance evaluation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering discipline
- Minimum 15+ years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position on major Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects
- ADNOC & Offshore project experience required
- PMC experience preferable
- Experience in FEED & EPC Phases required

Responsibilities
- Champion the Project Safety culture, behaviors and engagement activities.
- Identifying, evaluating, and resolving Piping Engineering issues.
- Review and approve within the specified approval durations, the Contractor key deliverables and other works within the Mechanical (Piping) discipline.
- Review and approve the following Contractor’s deliverables: equipment design, system design, testing of materials, specifications, design calculations, designs, drawings, engineering studies, material requisitions, material quantity estimates.
- Review and approve key design documents from Vendors, equipment manufacturers or Subcontractors.
- Attend technical meeting with Owner, Licensor, Contractor and Vendors.
- Attend all Project technical sessions by the Contractor such as: Design Review Meetings, 3D Model Review Meeting, Constructability, SIL, EIA, HAZOP and HAZID etc.
- Ensure quality and accuracy of EPC Contractor’s Mechanical (Piping) Engineering design activities.
- Supervise and manage the review and approval of Contractor’s work.
- Coordinate the required Engineering participation in the development and analysis of various design options and business models.
- Contribute input and expertise in the development and analysis of various design options and business models.
- Coordinate the technical guidance required to develop new specifications and update existing specifications.
Qualifications And Experience
- A bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering discipline or equivalent from an accredited university.
- Minimum of fifteen (15+) years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry, including a minimum of five (5) years (preferred) in the GCC region.
- Must have at least five (5) years of experience in a similar position on major Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects, managing a team of Specialists, Senior Engineers, and Engineers.
- ADNOC & Offshore project experience is Required.
- PMC experiences are preferrable.
- Experience in FEED & EPC Phases is required.
