About the Role
Worley seeks a Lead Electrical Engineer to champion project safety and manage electrical engineering issues during FEED and EPC phases of ADNOC oil & gas projects. - Champion the Project Safety culture, behaviors and engagement activities
- Identify, evaluate, and resolve Project Management issues during the early work phase and FEED phases
- Identify, evaluate, and resolve electrical Engineering issues
- Act on behalf of and as authorized by Owner on all matters with respect to the EPC / FEED Contractor and coordinate Project activities
- Review and approve Contractor key deliverables within the electrical discipline, ensuring compliance with design requirements
- Attend regular meetings at EPC / FEED Contractor’s Engineering offices and construction Site offices
- Review and approve key design documents from Vendors, equipment manufacturers or Subcontractors
- Attend technical meetings with Owner, Licensor, Contractor and Vendors
- Attend Project technical sessions such as Design Review Meetings, 3D Model Review Meeting, Constructability, SIL, EIA, HAZOP and HAZID
- Ensure quality and accuracy of Contractor’s Engineering design activities, system integration, and design selection
- Supervise and manage the review and approval of Contractor’s work, ensuring compliance with Owner and Project specifications
- Coordinate other discipline Engineer’s participation in layout reviews, design reviews, and technical workshops
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering discipline or equivalent from an accredited university
- Minimum 15+ years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position on major Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects, managing a team of Specialists, Senior Engineers, and Engineers
- ADNOC project experience required
- Offshore project experience required
- PMC experience required
- Experience in FEED & EPC Phases required

Responsibilities
- Champion the Project Safety culture, behaviors and engagement activities.

- Identifying, evaluating, and resolving electrical Engineering issues.
- Act on behalf of and as authorized by Owner, on all matters with respect to the EPC / FEED Contractor and shall coordinate Project activities.
- Review and approve within the specified approval durations, the Contractor key deliverables and other works within the electrical discipline.
- Attend regular or as needed meetings at EPC / FEED Contractor’s Engineering offices and construction Site offices.
- Review and approve the following Contractor’s deliverables.
- Review and approve key design documents from Vendors, equipment manufacturers or Subcontractors.
- Attend technical meeting with Owner, Licensor, Contractor and Vendors.
- Attend all Project technical sessions by the Contractor such as: Design Review Meetings, 3D Model Review Meeting, Constructability, SIL, EIA, HAZOP and HAZID etc.
- Ensuring that the Project quality procedures are established maintained and implemented by the EPC / FEED Contractor.
- Ensure quality and accuracy of Contractor’s Engineering design activities, system integration, and design selection.
Qualifications And Experience
- A bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering discipline or equivalent from an accredited university, with a minimum of fifteen (15+) years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry, including a minimum of five (5) years (preferred) in the GCC region.
- Must have at least five (5) years of experience in a similar position on major Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects, managing a team of Specialists, Senior Engineers, and Engineers.
- ADNOC project experience is required.
- Offshore project experience is required.
- PMC experiences are required.
- Experience in FEED & EPC Phases is required.
