Job Purpose
Lead and manage the design process across major projects.
Deliver coordinated, technically compliant, commercially viable, and high-quality design solutions aligned with project objectives, budgets, programmes, and regulations.
Design Management
- Lead design management from concept and design development through detailed design, construction, and handover.
- Develop design strategies, programmes, deliverable schedules, and management plans.
- Coordinate architectural, structural, MEP, landscape, infrastructure, and specialist design teams.
- Manage external consultants against scope, deliverables, programme, budget, and quality requirements.
- Review drawings, specifications, reports, submissions, and technical documentation.
- Resolve design conflicts and interface issues across disciplines.
- Monitor design progress and ensure milestones and deliverables are achieved.
Coordination and Compliance
- Lead design reviews, technical workshops, coordination meetings, and design presentations.
- Coordinate with project management, technical, commercial, procurement, construction, BIM, and other functions.
- Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, authority requirements, building codes, technical standards, and project specifications.
