About the Role
Worley seeks a Lead Commissioning Engineer to lead PMC and contractor commissioning teams for major Oil & Gas projects in Abu Dhabi. The role requires overseeing pre-commissioning, commissioning, and handover activities while ensuring HSE compliance and project delivery.

Responsibilities
- Provide overall leadership and direction to PMC and Contractor commissioning teams
- Carry out pre commissioning and commissioning activities of the project
- Supervise mechanical completion, performance tests, and discuss outstanding CARs and NCRs
- Review and approve post commissioning scenarios, operation scenarios, and maintenance procedures
- Manage Commissioning Teams across functions and site, and external contractors
- Prepare and monitor Operations and Maintenance commissioning project budgets
- Contribute to HAZOP and other process studies, develop plant modifications
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and permit to work procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position on major Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects
- Experience in the GCC region (preferred)
- ADNOC & Offshore project experience (preferred)

- Review and approve post commissioning scenarios, operation scenarios/overhaul philosophy/emergency and preventative maintenance procedures.
- Manage the Commissioning Teams across functions and site, as well as external contractors.
- Prepares and monitors Operations and Maintenance commissioning project budgets, performance, and utilization.
- Contributes to meetings with Production, Engineering, I&Q, HSE, and Project Divisions for discussion of technical problems, HAZOP and other process studies.
- Assures the safety of personnel and assets by ensuring compliance with HSE regulations.
Minimum Experience And Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent from an accredited university.
- Minimum of fifteen (15+) years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a similar position on major Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects.
- ADNOC & Offshore project experience is preferred.
