Lead Azure DevOps Engineer

Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Own Azure DevOps and platform engineering activities across the project.
• Design Azure infrastructure and deployment architecture for enterprise AI and application workloads across DEV, TEST, UAT, and PROD.
• Build CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, AKS workloads, networking, identity, secrets management, monitoring, and DevSecOps controls.
• Define release, rollback, backup, disaster recovery, and production support procedures.
• Troubleshoot complex Azure infrastructure, deployment, networking, security, and performance issues.
• Provide technical leadership and standards for DevOps engineers and collaborate on platform readiness and production onboarding.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.
• Proven experience designing, building, and supporting production-grade, enterprise-scale Azure platforms.
• Expert-level Microsoft Azure and platform engineering knowledge with strong AKS, Docker, and Kubernetes experience.
• Proficiency in Azure DevOps pipelines and infrastructure as code using Terraform and/or Bicep.
• Knowledge of Azure networking, Entra ID, Managed Identities, RBAC, Azure Key Vault, and Azure monitoring services.
• Strong Linux administration and scripting skills in Python, Bash, and/or PowerShell.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills for working with enterprise clients and security teams.
• English proficiency at B2/C1 level or higher.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Azure AI Services, Azure OpenAI infrastructure, or Azure API Management gateways.
• Understanding of AI/ML workload deployment, MLOps, or Databricks on Azure.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Azure managed database services, Helm, Argo CD, or GitOps workflows.
• Exposure to Red Hat OpenShift, hybrid Azure/on-premises environments, SAST/DAST tools, or container vulnerability scanning.
• Experience in regulated Finance, Energy, or Healthcare industries.
