Role Summary
OMERS is seeking a hands-on Lead Agentic Automation Developer for its Agentic Process Automation team.
The role builds enterprise solutions combining RPA, AI agents, generative AI, integrations, and human-in-the-loop controls.
Solutions will support corporate functions, capital markets, and private markets.
Core Responsibilities
- Design enterprise AI solutions with Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, Azure AI Search, and Microsoft 365 Copilot.
- Develop agents with guardrails, confidence thresholds, human checkpoints, exception handling, and audit trails.
- Integrate agents with enterprise systems, APIs, databases, SaaS applications, and automation platforms.
- Design multi-agent workflows and orchestration patterns.
- Build, test, and deploy agentic process automation using UiPath, Power Platform, and Microsoft AI capabilities.
- Facilitate discovery workshops and recommend platforms based on business, technical, risk, and cost considerations.
- Modernize RPA solutions with AI and agentic capabilities.
- Define testing strategies for automation and AI-enabled solutions.
- Create solution designs, runbooks, deployment manifests, process maps, and technical specifications.
- Provide technical leadership, code reviews, governance standards, and guidance to junior developers.
- Own automation solution development, maintenance, support, upgrades, stability, and availability.
