Associate Experience

Supervision and Standards
- Supervise, train, and inspect Laundry Attendants, Washers, Pressers, and Uniform Attendants.
- Maintain LQA, Forbes, Rosewood brand, departmental, and hotel service standards.
- Work productively under pressure and assist in the laundry department when necessary.
Guest Laundry Service
- Collect and deliver guest laundry and dry-cleaning items punctually and professionally.
- Count items against guest laundry lists and accurately record guest names, room numbers, and item counts.
- Inspect garments for damage, stains, or items left in pockets before processing.
- Follow guest instructions for folding, starching, pressing, and other garment treatments.
Equipment and Processing
- Mark dry-cleaning items correctly and check garments for color fastness and pre-existing damage.
- Refill chemicals, clean filters, service machines as needed, and operate dry-cleaning machines to required standards.
- Load and unload machines with correct amounts and report equipment defects.
- Operate laundry machines according to specifications while checking the cleanliness and condition of articles.
Organization and Records
- Fold cleaned articles and stack them by type and size in designated amounts.
- Process guest laundry, dry-cleaning, pressing, hotel uniforms, and designated management garments.
- Clear lint and debris from drains and filters and maintain work areas, equipment, closets, and linen storage.
- Inspect linen closets for proper linen par levels and shelf labeling.
- Maintain accurate dry-cleaning and laundry poundage records.
Role Requirements
- Work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings when necessary.
- Follow fire, safety, chemical-handling, emergency, and equipment procedures.
- Comply with departmental policies, service procedures, and Rosewood brand standards.
- Provide a friendly, helpful, and courteous manner to guests and associates.
Additional Responsibilities
Report faulty equipment, damaged garments or linens, shortages, maintenance needs, safety hazards, and problems to the Laundry Manager.
Take charge of special projects when instructed and perform other reasonable duties as required.
Turn off equipment before leaving and follow department emergency procedures, including fire and bomb-threat procedures.
