Role Overview
Laundry Team Leader role within Rosewood Doha’s luxury hotel and lifestyle destination.
The role supervises laundry associates and supports guest laundry, dry cleaning, pressing, uniforms, equipment, and department standards.
Essential Duties
- Supervise, train, and inspect Laundry Attendants, Washers, Pressers, and Uniform Attendants.
- Maintain LQA, Forbes, Rosewood Brand, and departmental service standards.
- Collect, verify, inspect, process, and deliver guest laundry and dry-cleaning items.
- Operate, clean, load, unload, and maintain laundry and dry-cleaning machinery.
- Report equipment defects, garment damage, shortages, maintenance needs, and safety hazards.
- Maintain organized work areas, linen closets, supply storage, filters, drains, and equipment.
- Maintain accurate laundry and dry-cleaning poundage records and undertake special projects when instructed.
Role Requirements
- Work productively under pressure and maintain a friendly, helpful, and courteous manner.
- Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when necessary.
- Follow fire, safety, chemical-handling, equipment, and emergency procedures.
- Operate laundry services and machinery according to specifications.
