Electrical Maintenance

• Maintain departmental policies, service procedures, and standards.
• Follow lockout/tagout procedures and use required PPE when working on electrically powered equipment.
• Isolate electrical defects using ammeters, ohmmeters, voltmeters, testing lamps, and other instruments.
• Inspect electrical systems and perform preventive maintenance to minimize disruptions and breakdowns.
• Maintain lighting systems, distribution panels, circuit breakers, and low-voltage electrical distribution rooms.
• Inspect, test, clean, lubricate, and replace circuit-breaker components as needed.
• Inspect equipment, lighting, signal, communication, and power circuits.

Operations and Work Orders

• Respond quickly to electrical emergencies and report safety hazards to the Director or Assistant Director of Engineering.
• Check job priorities and follow-up work with the duty engineer or supervisor.
• Communicate delays and daily progress to the supervisor and duty engineer.
• Close maintenance requests in the communication device after completing work.
• Respond to Knowcross service orders and emergency work orders.
• Record operational and meter readings manually and in the relevant system.

Property Standards

• Keep premises, electrical rooms, workshop areas, and equipment clean and in good working condition.
• Maintain and repair guestrooms and public areas according to Perfect Room Program procedures and standards.
• Follow hotel procedures when entering guest rooms for repairs.
• Practice safety procedures and conditions in work areas and associated areas.
• Understand and practice hotel emergency fire precautions.

Standard Responsibilities

• Follow Rosewood company policies and departmental procedures.
• Take on other reasonable tasks in addition to those stated.
• Support teamwork and departmental goals while maintaining brand integrity and company values.
• Take a proactive approach to departmental management and anticipate potential opportunities.

Requirements

• Comply with lockout/tagout procedures when working on electrically powered equipment.
• Use all required personal protective equipment while on duty.
• Be prepared to respond quickly to electrical emergencies.
• Follow departmental, hotel, safety, and emergency fire-prevention procedures.
• Attend required safety, health, induction, on-the-job, and toolbox-talk training.
