Role Overview
Laundry Operations Supervisor based in Dubai, UAE, reporting to the Operations Manager.
Responsible for assigned-shift operations, workflow, quality standards, team productivity, accurate order completion, service, and safety.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate Laundry Attendants during assigned shifts.
- Monitor sorting, tagging, washing, drying, pressing, folding, and finishing processes.
- Achieve production targets and shift KPIs while addressing delays, bottlenecks, and capacity issues.
- Escalate equipment breakdowns, maintenance requirements, and operational issues.
- Conduct quality spot checks before dispatch and maintain order accuracy.
- Ensure health, safety, hygiene, housekeeping, and operational procedures are followed.
- Guide team members to improve productivity and process adherence.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of experience in laundry, garment care, manufacturing, or similar operational environments.
- Previous experience supervising or leading shift-based teams.
- Strong leadership, team management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of garment handling, laundry processing, and quality control procedures.
- Ability to manage production targets and maintain operational efficiency.
- Availability for shift-based work, including weekends and public holidays when required.
Success Measures
- Achieve daily and shift-level production targets with efficient workflow.
- Minimize processing errors, garment damage, and rework.
- Maintain consistent quality across all laundry stages.
- Complete orders within required turnaround times.
- Maintain team productivity, attendance, procedural adherence, safety, and hygiene.
