- Sort, wash, dry, iron, press, and fold linens, uniforms, and laundry items
- Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently
- Inspect laundry items for stains, damage, or special care requirements
- Distribute clean uniforms and linens to designated departments
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area
- Monitor laundry supplies and report shortages
- Follow health, safety, and chemical handling procedures
- Perform alterations, repairs, and adjustments on staff uniforms and garments
- Repair damaged linens, curtains, bedding, and textile items
- Operate sewing machines and tailoring equipment
- Measure and fit uniforms as required
- Maintain tailoring materials, tools, and supplies
