- Sort linens, towels, clothing and other laundry items by color, size and material
- Wrap laundry items for pickup or delivery to customers and hospitality guests
- Wash items with commercial laundry equipment following proper sanitization protocols
- Clean and maintain laundry room area and equipment
- Safely operate steam presses, ironing machines, and finishing equipment, ensuring optimal performance
- Apply the correct temperature, pressure, and pressing method for various materials, from delicate silks to heavy cottons
- Inspect items before and after pressing to identify stains, damage, or imperfections, ensuring only top quality items are delivered
- Follow all safety protocols and hygiene standards to maintain a clean, hazard free work environment
- Work closely with the Laundry team to maintain smooth operations
Requirements
- Ability to sort linens, towels, clothing and other laundry items by color, size and material
- Ability to operate steam presses, ironing machines, and finishing equipment safely
- Knowledge of correct temperature, pressure, and pressing method for various materials
- Ability to inspect items before and after pressing to identify stains, damage, or imperfections
