Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Comply with departmental policies, service procedures, LQA requirements, and Rosewood brand standards.
- Operate ironing, folder, washer, dryer, and other laundry machinery according to specifications.
- Inspect, sort, fold, stack, finish, and distribute cleaned articles, garments, linens, and uniforms.
- Process guest laundry, dry-cleaning, and pressing requests according to departmental specifications.
- Load machinery with correct cleaning agents and detergents and process garments according to labels.
- Separate stained or damaged items for repair, recleaning, or discard and maintain discard-uniform records.
- Replenish food and beverage closets and place finished items in designated distribution areas.
- Maintain accurate poundage, piece-count, and monthly linen and supply inventory records.
- Report equipment faults, damaged items, shortages, maintenance needs, and safety hazards to a supervisor.
- Clean lint traps, filters, drains, work areas, equipment, floors, and supply closets.
- Transport trash containers, follow recycling procedures, and restock work areas for the next shift.
