Role Overview
The Land Surveyor will support infrastructure projects involving roads, utilities, drainage, earthworks, and related civil works.
Survey data must support design, setting-out, and quality control in compliance with UAE regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct topographic, boundary, control, and as-built surveys using Total Stations, GPS/GNSS, and Levels.
- Set out roads, utility corridors, stormwater and sewerage networks, and site levels from approved IFC drawings.
- Process survey data in AutoCAD Civil 3D and produce maps, profiles, sections, and volume calculations.
- Coordinate discrepancies with design, planning, and site engineering teams.
- Prepare reports, as-built drawings, quantity computations, and handover documentation.
- Liaise with Dubai Municipality and other authorities for approvals and certifications.
- Maintain instruments, calibration records, field books, and digital survey archives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of relevant Land Surveyor experience on UAE infrastructure projects.
- Dubai Municipality Land Surveyor Certificate or License is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with Total Station, GPS/GNSS equipment, and data collectors.
- Knowledge of UAE standards and local authority submission requirements.
- Experience with as-built surveys and utility or drainage network verification.
