About the Role
AECOM seeks an experienced Land Surveyor in Dubai to conduct precise surveys for major roads and infrastructure projects. The role requires advanced surveying equipment, data analysis, and collaboration with project teams to ensure accuracy and compliance with UAE standards.

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive land surveys using advanced surveying equipment including GPS/GNSS systems, total stations, and laser levels for roads, infrastructure, and underground utility projects
- Perform site analysis and reconnaissance for micro tunneling and STP projects to establish survey control networks and reference points
- Collect, process, and analyze surveying data with precision, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications and UAE surveying standards
- Prepare detailed survey reports, site plans, and technical documentation using AutoCAD and other surveying software
- Establish and maintain coordinate systems, benchmarks, and control points for ongoing project reference and monitoring
- Collaborate with project engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure surveying requirements align with project objectives
- Conduct leveling, traversing, and boundary surveys to support infrastructure design and construction phases
- Monitor and document underground utilities and existing infrastructure to prevent conflicts during construction
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety protocols, and quality standards throughout all surveying activities
- Maintain accurate field notes, survey records, and project documentation for audit and reference purposes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Surveying, Geomatics, or related discipline
- Professional Land Surveyor license or certification (UAE or internationally recognized equivalent)
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience in land surveying with demonstrated expertise in roads and infrastructure projects
- Proficiency with surveying software and tools including AutoCAD, GPS/GNSS processing software, and total station operation
- Strong knowledge of coordinate systems, datum transformations, and surveying calculations
- Familiarity with UAE surveying standards, regulations, and local construction practices
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Strong organizational and documentation skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Valid UAE driving license (preferred)
